A WEEK OF PRAYER AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCHSTARTS MONDAY

We have set apart the first week of June (1st – 7th) as a week of prayer to help us hear from God as a church during this exciting season in the life of Holy Trinity Church.  There will be a prayer space in church available all week and regular slots to join together (these will be at 9 am, 12 pm and 5 pm everyday) as we seek Gods will.

PRAYER AND WORSHIP

Next Tuesday (2nd June) we hold our regular Prayer and Worship evening. Please come and join us – this month Phil is leading the worship.

MEET MEG AND JUSTIN BRADBURY-SAUNDERS

Perhaps you know them already as they have been part of Holy Trinity since moving to Ripon in 2023.  Meg is from the Washington DC area and currently works part-time at Eastwick assesory and gift shop on North Street.  Justin is from the Hampshire-Wiltshire borders and currently serves as an Army padre at Catterick. They are both ordained (Meg in 2013 in Washington, DC and Justin in 2008 in Salisbury). They have previous careers in the United States Senate and in estate agency.  Together, as a couple, they are passionate about prayer, relational healing, and our freedom found in Christ.

The Bishop has given each of them permission to officiate, enabling them to lead and preach in our services.  Later in the summer Meg will be licensed by Bishop Anna to serve as a self-supporting, part-time curate at Holy Trinity.  She is looking forward to learning the way things are done in the Church of England and minister in our community.

Please pray for Meg and Justin as they start this new chapter in their life and ministry, and if you have not met them yet, be sure to say “Hi”.😊

INTERCESSIONS TRAINING EVENING, 23 JUNE, 7.30 pm

There will be an Intercessions Training Evening on 23 June in the Nave for those who currently lead intercessions and anyone who may be interested in this ministry. To let us know you are coming please sign up here: Intercessions Training

ALPHA IS COMING

We will be running an Alpha course in the autumn. If you would like to be involved in helping to plan and run Alpha – please let John in the office know.

MISSION PARTNERS PRAYER FOCUS

THE RIPON AND RURAL VOLUNTARY CAR DRIVING SERVICE

Prayer points:

The Ripon & Rural Voluntary Driving Service is now being run by Tadcaster Volunteer Community Support Association but the clients and volunteers remain the same.  Volunteer drivers provide transport for individuals to attend medical appointments, shopping or social activities when they are unable to use other publicly provided transport.  Please pray for:-

The wonderful volunteers who give up so much of their time to provide not only transport but support for clients to get to the right department in hospital, a friendly chat on the way, and a real concern for their welfare.  Pray for clients to be kept safe in their journeys as they seek to keep active, independent and fulfilled in their own homes.

The continuation of this invaluable service
