Oasis for Women – 27 January

OASIS is…

  • for all women regardless of faith
  • a place where God affirms us and meets us just where we are
  • a break from the day-to-day to refresh, share life and encourage one another
  • free

We’d love you to join us for our very informal, friendly and welcoming women’s group.

We are back in the Arches starting at 9am with our legendary breakfast spreads (think warm pastries, yoghurt and fruit, freshly brewed coffee…come hungry!).

We worship together and explore what God has put on our hearts to share…. aiming to finish by 11am.

To help with catering please, if possible, sign-up beforehand on the event page.

Message from Michelle about going on placement

As part of her curacy training, Michelle will be going on placement for 2 months to the United Benefice of Great Ouseburn, Little Ouseburn, Green Hammerton with Whixley and Marton-cum-Grafton. Her last day with us will be Sunday 4 February. She will continue to live in Ripon during this time so you may still see her around, just not at Holy Trinity. Please say hello if you see her and please hold her in your prayers as she serves in this new context during Lent and Easter. She will return to Holy Trinity after Easter.

Working Party – Saturday 3 February, 9.30 am

The purpose of this Working Party is to sort out the lift Motor Room, take any rubbish to the tip and scrap metal to Andersons. Also, to repair the fence on the carpark which has been push over by cars.

Watercolours by Alan Denyer

John and Cathie have 4 watercolours by Alan which are available to the first people who respond!

Hope Explored

Why Hope Explored?

  • For long standing Christians it reminds us of The Gospel basics;
  • For those who desire to tell others about The Gospel it gives a great framework to do this;
  • For new Christians it can help cement what you already know about Jesus; and
  • For non Christians or those searching it enables them to make an educated choice about Jesus.

We have a ZOOM version of Hope Explored starting on 22 January at 7 pm, click here for details and to sign-up Hope Explored Zoom

We have a number of people who have requested different days and times – we will be getting back to them shortly to agree specific dates. If you have a preferred time let us know here: Hope Explored Preferred Time and Day

Of course, you are still more than welcome to come along this Wednesday evening at 7 pm for week 2 of the course, even if you missed week one as a summary will be given.
