DECORATING THE VICARAGE

Dan and Kathryn have offered Phil and Bec some assistance in preparing the Vicarage for their move. Phil has a schedule when help will be gratefully received.

These would be good days to have any volunteer support from the Trinity family if anyone is available and Phil will be at the house between 9.00 am and 3.30 pm:-

September:

Friday, 5th, Monday 8th, Monday 22nd, Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th

October:

Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th

Early jobs will be wallpaper stripping, prepping and then painting walls.

They will need to work around the schedule of works so some rooms will be out of bounds some of the time.  Phil will bring equipment and paint, a kettle, some mugs, biscuits etc so that any workers can have a brew break!! 😊

LADIES AWAY DAY – SATURDAY 6 SETEMBER– 10 am – 4 pm

Please can those ladies “booked in”, who haven’t yet done so, pay their balance of £10 to Cathie – either cash in an envelope to the Church internal post box by the office or to 17 Church Lane or via the Church machine.  If the latter PLEASE let Cathie know!

AND Michelle has asked for scraps of fabric and material for the day – please deliver to the bag in the porch for her to collect later in the month.

REQUEST FROM THE TECH TEAM

We are looking to make our computer operator’s job a little easier on a Sunday morning by installing a second monitor on their desk. If anyone has a spare computer monitor they would like to donate to the church, that would be fantastic. We don’t need a large monitor, but it does need an HDMI input. Thanks!

ANNA & JOSH’S WEDDING

Anna and Josh are having a time of worship and then a mass at St Wilfrid’s this Friday, 15 August. Worship will start at 4.15 pm and mass at 5.00 pm. They would like to extend an invitation to anyone from Holy Trinity who would like to attend. Everyone is very welcome and they think it would be a wonderful opportunity to bring our church communities together. There will be refreshments at The Community Centre straight after mass. Their wedding ceremony is at 12.00 noon on 16 August at Holy Trinity and, again, everyone is welcome to this.

NATURE DETECTIVES
