Maundy Thursday

Advanced Notice! Maundy Thursday is on 17 April this year. We will be holding a Holy Communion service at 7.30 pm on the 17th. Holy Trinity’s tradition is for groups to have a simple supper of soup and a roll prior to this service around 6 to 6.30 pm in homes around Ripon. This is usually arranged by House Groups. We also offer the chance to have a supper here at Church too for those not in a House Group.

If you are not in a House Group but would like to take part in a supper on Maundy Thursday you can sign-up here: Maundy Thursday Supper Please do this well in advance so we know how many we are catering for.

The Chosen

The Chosen (The Last Supper) is being released for a limited time to be shown at cinemas.  The nearest cinema where this is on is Vue at York.  A number of Trinity folk are planning to go on Thursday 10 April for the 7.30 pm showing. If you would like to go as a group, please sign-up in advance to let us know if you need or can offer transport. Note you will need to obtain your tickets in advance yourself. Prayer and Worship

It is a great week of celebration, activity and spreading the word and love of God to the children of our city. HOLY TRINITY NEW PARISH ELECTORAL ROLL

Under the Church Representation Rules 2022, a new Electoral Roll must be prepared every six years.  Everyone on the existing roll, who wishes to be on the new roll, now needs to complete a new application form.  Qualification criteria are set down by the Church of England and shown on the application form.  If you wish to be on the new roll, and meet the criteria, please complete a form and return it to Alison Bradley or leave it in the box in the narthex.  If you are unsure as to whether or not you reside in the parish, please ask the Office.  Copies of the form are available next to the box or can be downloaded below.  Please complete and return your form by 13 April.
