HARVEST SERVICE, 6 SEPTEMBER
Your harvest donations will be extremely welcome, and we very much appreciate you asking what is needed. The list below are the items that we need the most. We consider meals that can be heated in a cost-effective way or used for a variety of meals in order to stretch a budget.
Tinned meat such as hotdogs, stewed beef, mince in gravy, corned beef or tinned ham.
Vegetables such as tinned carrots or garden peas.
Rice pouches, just plain rice is perfect.
Pasta sauce.
Custard
Rice pudding
Jam, either raspberry or strawberry.
Multipacks of cereal or traditional smaller boxes of cereal such as corn flakes or rice krispies.
Not essential, but packets of biscuits are always a nice treat if we have them to add to a food parcel.
Also, we are often asked for washing powder (gel, pods or whatever) and cleaning products, an anti bac spray or a multipurpose cleaner is ideal.

Dear All,
I am writing to let you know that Alison Ratcliffe has resigned from her role as Mission Enabler.
We are sorry to see Alison leave the role and we are deeply grateful for all she has contributed during her three years as Mission Enabler. Her faithful service, creativity and commitment to the life and mission of the church have been a real blessing, and we thank God for all she has given.
Her last working day will be Thursday 27th August.
We will have the opportunity to publicly thank Alison at the 10.30 service on Sunday 6th September.
Please pray for Alison in this transition time and for us as a church as we navigate this change.
God bless
Phil
