Izzy Lepine is running the London Marathon this Sunday 21^st April

I have never been a runner! However, I have been training hard for several months alongside continuing my studies in France, and I shall be running the London Marathon this Sunday in support of Frank’s Fund and Bone Cancer Research Trust. Frank was a pupil of St Aidan’s School, Harrogate who sadly died of Ewing Sarcoma – a rare form of bone cancer – in 2019 aged 14 years. I shall be running the marathon alongside one of my close friends and sister of Frank, Maisy.

Walk and Talk

Walk and Talk is happening again running every Sunday evening from 6 pm. Open to all young people from school year groups 7 to 13. If you have not signed up your child for this before – please do so here on the event page. Walk and Talk

The Digging Deeper Bible Study group will be meeting weekly at 7.30 on Thursday evenings in The Arches from April 18^th , for 5 weeks.    If you want to explore the Bible more deeply  please contact John Rutter: jsrutter49@gmail.com     or just turn up on the 18^th.  We will be looking at Deuteronomy, one of the OT Books  most quoted in the NT.

Volunteers at Community House, Ripon have  turned food destined for the bin into an estimated 6,000 meals over the last three years. Read the BBC article here Waste not Wednesday runs each Wednesday during school term between 12:00 noon and 14:00 pm.

Tenth Anniversry of the Diocese of Leeds Celebration – 12 May, 3.30 pm

Bishop Anna and Dean John, with the support of the Bishop of Leeds, invite the clergy and congregation to Ripon Cathedral for a celebratory service to mark the Tenth Anniversary of the Diocese of Leeds on  Sunday 12^th May at 3.30pm. Rivers of Life

This service is to celebrate the rural life of the Diocese of Leeds and we are inviting people from all parts of the diocese to share in this celebration of rural communities, parishes, businesses and organisations, not least farming and land management.
