Crowd Funding for Breakfast Club and Renew Ripon

We have a great opportunity to obtain some match funding from the Co op who have agreed to support our community focused events: Breakfast Club and Renew Ripon. In short, the Co op have agreed to match all individual donations made over the next few weeks up to £250 per donation. We have ambitiously sought to raise £10,000 – which would secure both activities for a whole year. You can help in two ways, of course if you feel directed please make a donation – but much more importantly we want the whole of Ripon (and beyond) to know about our amazing work in this area and to give the opportunity for other folk to support our community focused work. Full details are here: Crowdfunder

Please let all your friends, family and neighbours know about this. If 100 people each let 10 people know and each person gave just £10 we would meet our target twice over!!

APCM / Bring and Share Lunch / Electoral Roll

It is the time of year when we have our Annual Parochial Council Meeting (APCM). Basically, this is our annual meeting where people can find out what has happened; what our plans are; and to be informed about everything happening at Holy Trinity Church. All of the following relates to this:

The APCM itself The APCM will this year be directly after our 10.30 worship on Sunday 26 March. This is to enable as many folk as possible to attend – please try and come.

Bring and Share Lunch Because we are coming together for the APCM we’d like to extend this coming together for everyone to join for lunch after the service on Sunday 26 March. We’ll give more details about the lunch soon – but please keep this Sunday free to join us if you can from midday.

Thank You

We had a lovely surprise today at Holy Trinity Church. Two separate groups of children from Holy Trinity Infant School came to deliver flowers to mark this Sunday’s Mothering Sunday. They were doing this to recognise Holy Trinity as their “mother” church! What a lovely gesture – thank you very much. You will see the flowers on display when you next come in to church and we’ll try and get some pictures when they fully open.

This Sunday

It is Mothering Sunday on 19 March. Please come along to join in our celebrations and of course to continue to hear the teaching series linking in with Discipleship Explored. Michelle has asked for volunteers to help in a game of Pass the Parcel – so if you are up for be ready to join in at the 10.30 service!
