Notices of Week of 24 February 2022

Published by John Housley on

We hope you are all well this week. Of course this is a school half term week so a bit different. Here are the notices:

Shrove Tuesday 1 March

Next Tuesday we have our Shrove Tuesday events at Holy Trinity. If you receive these notices by e-mail you’ll get a separate reminder about this too later in the week. If you can’t wait or are reading these notices on the Web Site or on our Face Book page go here to get details: Shrove Tuesday

Because it is Half-Term this week please spread the word as we won’t have a chance to get a message out to the school until Monday! This should be a lovely event to pop in to Church on Tuesday 1 March between 8 am and 3 pm to have a light bite to eat and a drink and a natter. Bring a friend or two!

Ash Wednesday

Of course the next day is Ash Wednesday. We will be holding a service of Holy Communion at Holy Trinity at 7.30 pm. For this reason there will not be a Trinity Tuesday meeting in March. Details about the service will appear here Ash Wednesday

Sunday Services

Our services this Sunday are as follows:

9 am Holy Communion

10.30 am Holy Communion

10:30 am Family Church

6:50 pm Youth Service

Snowdrops At Holy Trinity

The theme this week at our morning services in the main church is: “Letting in the Light” Changing: The Transfiguration. The readings are: Acts 9: 10-19  and Mark 9: 2-8

Thank You

This was added to last weeks notices but just in case you read them before the update: it is a while ago but we have had some late additions. The total raised by the Christmas collection was £3,222.51.  £1,611.25 comes to Holy Trinity and it’s work and £1,611.26 will be sent to support the Covid Vaccination fund for overseas. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
