Notices of the Week of 7 April 2025

MAUNDY THURSDAY
Maundy Thursday is on 17 April this year and we will be holding a Holy Communion service at 7.30 pm. Holy Trinity’s tradition is for groups to have a simple supper of soup and a roll prior to this service around 6 to 6.30 pm in homes around Ripon. This is usually arranged by House Groups. We also offer the chance to have a supper here at Church too for those not in a House Group.
If you are not in a House Group but would like to take part in a supper on Maundy Thursday you can sign-up here: Maundy Thursday Supper Please do this so we know how many we are catering for.
Good Friday
Our All Age service at Holy Trinity Church is at 10 am. This service will be under an hour long and suitable for all ages. Later, on the Market Square Ripon Churches Working Together will be holding an Act of Witness. This is less than 30 minutes long but it would be great to see you there.
HOPE EXPLORED
Our next Hope Explored course runs from Wednesday 30 April, 7.00 pm. Three informal and relaxed sessions will be held for anyone who wants to find hope, peace and purpose in life.
Memory Cafe
A new memory cafe is starting in Ripon at Community House. Call 01904 929444 for details or find out more here: Memory Cafe

Wellspring April Prayer Points
On Sunday 18 May Wellspring are one of the named charities for the Nidderdale Walk. This is a great and well-organised day out walking through beautiful Nidderdale. There are 6 distances to choose from 4 to 26 miles so suitable for the whole family, and those taking part can raise money for them by gathering sponsorship. Plus, if they manage to get 10 or more people walking in support of Wellspring they also receive some of their entry fee too. They had teams taking part for the last few years and they have loved the atmosphere on the day. Details here.
