AN EVENING WITH EDDIE GRAY & JIM LUMSDEN, 7 JUNE

If anyone would like to attend this event, John Housley has two spare places in his car.

SUNDAY 8 JUNE, PENTECOST

This Sunday, 8 June, is Pentecost and we would like to invite the 9.00 am and 10.30 am congregations and Family Church to wear something coloured red or orange to mare the occasion. This is entirely voluntary, no pressure, but will help to create a special atmosphere on this major festival!

INTERCESSIONS AND PRAYERS

Would you like to lead Intercessions and Prayers?

We would like to have more people leading intercessions.  If you would like to find out more, without any commitment, come along to a “find out” evening on Wednesday 11 June at 7.30 pm in the Coffee Area.  This is an amazing ministry to be involved in so whether you’re doing this now, have done it in the past, or never done it before you will be welcome.  More info from Alison M or the Office.

RIPON THEATRE FESTIVAL

Full programme details available here: Ripon Theatre Festival or pick up a free programme from church.

Three performances you definitely won’t want to miss:

Lord Jesus, we know you have plans for Holy Trinity Church here in Ripon and we trust that those plans are good. Holy Spirit guide those who are seeking the right minister to be our next vicar and those who are seeking the right next step in their ministry. For Your kingdom in this place. Amen.

KEY DATES TO PRAY FOR:

Sunday 15th June – Closing date for applications.

Wednesday 18th June   – Shortlisting

Thursday 3rd July – Interview day  at Trinity.

MISSION PARTNER FOCUS – RIPON & RURAL VOLUNTARY CAR DRIVING SERVICE

The Ripon & Rural Voluntary Driving Service is now being run by Tadcaster Volunteer Community Support Association (rather than Harrogate & District Community Action).  However, the clients and volunteers remain the same.  Volunteer drivers provide transport for individuals to attend medical appointments, shopping or social activities when they are unable to use other publicly provided transport.  Please pray for:-

The continuation of this invaluable service

More volunteers to come forward

The wellbeing of both clients and volunteers
