Notices of the Week of 31 March 2025

Published by Alison Bradley on

As church schools, Holy Trinity Infant and Junior schools are inspected regularly by SIAMS. (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) The infant school was inspected recently and received a very positive report, with the inspector noting that:

Holy Trinity Infant and Nursery school is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.

Congratulations and thanks should go to Sue Sanderson and all of ‘Team Trinity’ for all their hard work.

The inspector also highlighted that the:

…deep-rooted connections with Holy Trinity Church further confirm this vision as a living reality.

and goes on to mention Boost and ‘Open the book’ as examples of this. It also commented on how the church has supported the school through difficult times.

It is encouraging that the strong links between the schools and the church are being recognised.

Wellspring March prayer points

On Sunday 18th May Wellspring are one of the named charities for the Nidderdale Walk. This is a great and well-organised day out walking through beautiful Nidderdale. There are 6 distances to choose from 4 to 26 miles so suitable for the whole family, and those taking part can raise money for them by gathering sponsorship. Plus, if they manage to get 10 or more people walking in support of Wellspring they also receive some of their entry fee too. They had teams taking part for the last few years and they have loved the atmosphere on the day. Details here.
