A massive thank you to everyone at Holy Trinity for your thoughts, prayers and generous donations towards my marathon fundraising. Your generosity in supporting Frank’s Fund has gone directly to vital research for chronically underfunded bone cancer, Ewing Sarcoma. The London marathon is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to physically complete and I’m so proud I managed it! Thank you again. Izzy.

Christian Aid week is the 12th -15th May.   As in the last few years Christian Aid Week will operate on a delivery only envelope with options as to how people may wish to donate. We are looking for                    volunteers to deliver envelopes. Please collect your bag from either Michael, Robert, Jane or Dianne at the back of church for the next few Sundays up to the 12th May . Thank you

Walk and Talk

Walk and Talk is happening again running every Sunday evening from 6 pm. Open to all young people from school year groups 7 to 13. If you have not signed up your child for this before – please do so here on the event page. Walk and Talk

Pay it Forward, Ripon

Donate a second cup to someone in need. Look for the notice, “this is a ‘Pay it Forward Ripon’ eating establishmnet. If you wish to ‘pay it forward’ by way of a cup of coffee or tea, please place your correct money donation in the jug provided. Pay it Forward Businesses signed up for the scheme

Stop Food Waste Day – 24 April

Volunteers at Community House, Ripon have  turned food destined for the bin into an estimated 6,000 meals over the last three years. Read the BBC article here Waste not Wednesday runs each Wednesday during school term between 12:00 noon and 14:00 pm.

Summer BOOST Shirt / Blouse appeal

Any donations of old shirts and blouses in light, pastel colours would be greatly appreciated for BOOST week!

Tenth Anniversry of the Diocese of Leeds Celebration – 12 May, 3.30 pm

Bishop Anna and Dean John, with the support of the Bishop of Leeds, invite the clergy and congregation to Ripon Cathedral for a celebratory service to mark the Tenth Anniversary of the Diocese of Leeds on  Sunday 12^th May at 3.30pm. Rivers of Life

This service is to celebrate the rural life of the Diocese of Leeds and we are inviting people from all parts of the diocese to share in this celebration of rural communities, parishes, businesses and organisations, not least farming and land management.
