Notices of Week of 2 January 2023

Published by John Housley on

Happy New Year

We hope and pray you have had a good Christmas and New Year and if we haven’t spoken directly already may you be blessed in 2023.

Of course, in The New Year we often have a clear out and tidy up. This is no different at Holy Trinity. Please check the lost property box in the Coffee Area as we will be disposing of any items in the box in the next week or so. Also, we have a number of music CDs that are available, free of charge, to good homes. Please take any you would like – also in the Coffee Area.

Trinity Tuesday

We know this is short notice but please, if you can, try and come to Trinity Tuesday this evening at 7.30 pm. Note there will not a Trinity Tuesday in February and March as we will, as a church, be focussing on Discipleship Explored. There will be lots of opportunities to join a group following this study and we are hoping that everyone will be able to join one of these groups.

Thursday Holy Communion

Just reminding you that we have a Thursday Communion every Thursday in Room 3. Everyone is welcome to come to this quiet and reflective Holy Communion service. This is conveniently timed to enable those either coming to Thursday Lunch, here at Holy Trinity, or indeed if you are coming to Ripon for the market, that you can combine this with Holy Communion! Thursday Communion

Digging Deeper Daily

If you are planning to read the whole Bible in 2023, it is not too late to join the group set up to do this together. It’s a great way to get support and inspiration from others as you come to read scripture on a daily basis. Sign up here: Digging Deeper Daily We have 5 people in this group already!

Our Thursday Lunch re-starts this week. There is just one sitting at Midday. Come to be fed well and for super fellowship. Everyone is welcome, we are holding our price at £5 for 2 courses and £7 for 3 for at least a couple more weeks. Lunch
