Gifts

Our new Teaching Series started on Sunday – looking at Spiritual Gifts. One of the messages from Sunday just gone is that we all have at least one gift. Make sure you can get to Holy Trinity next week to find out more! If you want to consider some questions from last Sunday’s sermon David has produced some questions here: Using our gifts.pdf

Discipleship Explored

Starting in February and following through the whole of Lent we, as a church, will be following Discipleship Explored – a course produced by Christianity Explored Ministries. If you belong to a House Group; they will be running this course. If you don’t currently belong to a House Group we will publicise, next week, where you can come along to a Discipleship Explored Course. This will be our Lenten study this year. The courses will commence in the week starting Sunday 6 February.

Do you enjoy walking?

Renew Ripon would like to introduce a well-being walk as part of its Monday lunchtime session, starting in February. Volunteers are needed to run this. Could you help? If you are interested or would like to know more please speak to Michelle.

Food Bank Donations

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting our donations that go to the Salvation Army Food Bank operating out of Lead Lane. Our overflowing box was gratefully received today and arrived just in time as their supplies were running very low. Please help with this if you can, the donations box is located in the Narthex.

Hang Out

Our Youth Group for school year 6 to 9 children re-starts this week. Matt and his very small team of volunteers could do with some support. If we could get one or two new adults to help we could then spread the load on the existing team. You don’t need to have experience of working with young people, although this of course would be welcomed, we just need a couple of additional faces from 7 pm for under 2 hours. If you feel prompted to help why not catch Matt or drop him an e-mail: [email protected] and ask him about it. We would be very grateful.

Come and be Restored this Sunday at 6.30 pm

Restored happens this Sunday in The Arches. We have a series this term on “The Power of…..” andJane Foster will be speaking on the Power of Example this time. If you haven’t been before please come and see what it is like, those who come are very often wonderfully blessed.
